Post-trip contemplation.

Putting in a cut so those who don’t want to read don’t have to hear me complain. :P

I got back last night from having a blast in Chicago and I’ve been spending most of the day today being productive with laundry and paper-writing. There was only one thing that bothered me about the trip though…

It was in Chicago, right?

One of the great cities in the U.S., with a boatload of sights to see, museums to visit, and other fun things to do in our free time.

So why did half of my coworkers spend most of their time in their room, blowing >$200 on hard liquor and then complaining about not having any meal money during the last few days?

Partly it bothers me because they could do that back at school, where there aren’t so many other things to do.

I know it’s a convention, and maybe it’s the food/fashion-lover and the prude coming out of me, but… come on. I respect your right to drink, but couldn’t you guys do that in Macomb?
