I found the real Bad Argument Hippie on Facebook
That one girl who always posts statuses like, “Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of life.” But two weeks earlier, she’s posting about her adventures with acid and other crap like that.

Post-trip contemplation.
Putting in a cut so those who don’t want to read don’t have to hear me complain. :P I got back last night from having a blast in Chicago and I’ve been spending most of the day today being productive with laundry and paper-writing. There was only one thing that bothered me about the trip though… It was in Chicago, right? One of the great cities in the U.S., with a...

Score!
so I’m in downtown Chicago right now for the annual ICPA meeting, and mostly all we did was go shopping at Forever 21. For under $100 I scored: A salmon-pink dress a pleated pink, blue, and khaki skirt a sheer white, navy-trimmed shirt-thing. some black tights I wanted to get a black polka-dot dress, but it was too small in the bust and they didn’t have anything bigger. ;...

If someone would be so kind as to kill me...

so many wants
I want to get over this cold/flu thing I want to commission somebody I want it to be spring break I want to survive Tuesday’s double-production hell spectacular at work I also want to survive Math with a “P” I want to go to Chicago at the end of the week I want to go to Hawaii after finals are over. Maybe that’s too much, but I think that’s also about it.

I find that one Dr. Pepper commercial ironic
because the guy suddenly rips off his shirt, and underneath it is a T-shirt that says “I’m one of a kind” while everyone around him proceeds to do the same exact thing. Yep. You’re one of a kind, all right.

bullshittery: on the anti-girlscout campaigning... →
princessnecrophilia: now, i’ve been seeing some of the campaigning going on, “boycott the cookies because they support x!” i find that a bit reprehensible to begin with because… telling someone to boycott girlscout cookies is cruel and unusual. you’d have to tie me down so i couldn’t…

When my parents returned from their romantic...
Me: So it was a 5 star hotel? What was it called?
Mom: Yep. It was called the Amada. It used to be called the Beloved, but they changed it.
Me: (blank stare)
Mom: What?
Me: I think "amada" might mean someone other than your spouse.
Dad: ...She picked it.
